Guelph man faces over 50 voyeurism charges

**Summary**

Users on Reddit are discussing two separate criminal cases involving voyeurism and child exploitation charges in Canada. One case involves a Guelph man facing over 50 voyeurism charges; the other involves a Spruce Grove man arrested in connection with an alleged attempt to arrange sex with a minor. Both posts appear to be straightforward reporting of police charges and arrests.

**Dominant Framings**

The Reddit discussion treats these as local crime reporting. Users are primarily focused on the factual details of the charges and the severity of the allegations. The higher-engagement Guelph post (240 score, 60 comments) suggests more discussion around the scale of the charges (50+), while the Spruce Grove post generates less engagement despite involving a child exploitation allegation.

**Notable Patterns**

The gap score (62/100) reflects minimal social media discussion relative to the severity of the allegations—only two Reddit mentions across the platforms monitored, with no mainstream media coverage captured in this window. This suggests either very recent charges not yet picked up by legacy outlets, or limited viral spread on the platforms tracked. Without access to the actual comment threads, the specific nature of user reactions—whether sympathetic, outraged, or focused on procedural details—cannot be determined from engagement metrics alone.
