OSAP impersonation scam circulates on social media

# Social Media Synthesis: OSAP Requesting

The discussion around "OSAP requesting" appears minimal and fragmented across social media, with only two Reddit mentions and no mainstream media coverage. Based on the limited engagement, users seem to be discussing what may be a scam or phishing attempt involving someone impersonating Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and requesting e-transfer payment details—a common fraud pattern. One post references "Online Order Stocking Shenanigans," suggesting possible confusion or a separate incident entirely.

The extremely low engagement (1 score, 0 comments across posts) makes it difficult to identify dominant framings or substantive disagreement. No users are actively debating the story, and no verified information about the scope or nature of the issue is present in the available discussion. The gap between social media chatter and mainstream coverage remains wide, with no news outlets reporting on this topic.
